Arts Management students at Butler MansionThe Arts Management Program M.A. Degree is designed to equip students to become effective arts managers. The curriculum is designed to increase the student's ability to identify and solve the complex, interdisciplinary problems and tensions that are inherent in the areas of arts management and cultural policymaking. This two-year program admits students annually in the fall semester.

Admissions

The Program is now accepting applications for Fall 2013 on a rolling basis.

The applicant pool will be evaluated and some applicants will be chosen for interviews.  Applicants will be informed if they are selected for interview.

On your application you will be asked to provide the following information.  Please note that there is a USD75 fee for applications which must be received in order for your application to be considered.

a) Your resume.

b) An academic essay of no more than three pages on any topic in the field of arts management which interests you.

c) Statement of Educational and Career Goals. A detailed statement of your educational and career goals.

  • Please indicate your professional background in the field of arts management and the reasons why you would like to undertake this course of study

d) Two references. Preferably one academic and one professional.

e) Academic Background. Please provide official transcripts from each college or university that you have attended as a full-time student.

f) Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT *Test is optional. GRE is recommended; however, scores are not required for admission to the program. UB's Institution Code (2925)
